December 1-5, 2014

Creating an old fashion village for the STEM video game challenge. I am working with an amazing team to create an epic video game that we will submit in February. My fist job was to texture these lovely cottages my friend made. I based my design off of The Beauty and The Beast Disney movie.

December 8-12, 2014

Just learned about the Viewport Canvas tool in 3ds Max Design! I wish I knew about this earlier because it's so helpful. I made a dirty cloak for a video game character.

CHRISTMAS TIME!

My parents love handmade presents for Christmas so I decided to do a painting for my mom. She requested an eagle. This is the final result, hopefully she likes it.

december 22-25, 2014

While my mother asked for a painted eagle, my father asked for a sketched picture of Derek Jeter, The New York Yankee's baseball "Captain" who just retired. We are a huge NYY fan and Jeter himself. My father knew it was a huge challenge for me to sketch him based off the photo he showed me and actually insisted that I did something easier, but the thought simply fueled me to take the challenge even more. And a challenge it was! Drawing Jeter was probably one of the hardest artistic tasks I've come to do, however I was pleased with the end result knowing drawing humans is my weakness.

December 29, 2014-January 2, 2015

This week was an unexpected week because we (my family) received word that my grandfather had a heart attack on Christmas day, so we drove down to Florida to pray and support him. I could not work on my art, but this was much more important and I got to see God work through my grandfather and my whole family. I got to reunite with family I haven't seen in years and we all were able to make peace with my grandfather. We are still hoping for a miracle that he makes it through.

February 2-10, 2015

Have been extremely busy lately, sorry for the delayed update. This is what I've been creating at my work. It is a 3D concept of what our future downtown could look like. I am using Unity to place all the models together and walk through the 3D downtown as if I would be in real life. This is a working progress so it is not complete yet.

Welcome to my weekly blog!
